Case Study: IFB 25L Microwave Running & Turning But Food Stays Cold
🔴 Customer Complaint & Symptoms
Dr. K. K. Srivastava (Hazratganj, Lucknow) ne subah report kiya ki unka IFB convection microwave sham ko achanak khana garam karna band kar gaya:
- Microwave ka digital display, keypad aur timer normal kaam kar rahe the.
- Start karne par andar ki cavity bulb on ho rahi thi aur glass turntable plate ghoom rahi thi.
- Lekin 2 minute tak chalane ke baad bhi cup of milk ya bowl bilkul thanda tha (zero heating).
🔍 High-Voltage Inspection & Diagnosis
Microwave ka high voltage section (approx 2000-4000V) extremely dangerous hota hai, isliye trained technician Imran Khan ne proper safety discharge procedure follow kiya:
- Capacitor Discharge: High voltage capacitor ko insulated resistor tool se safely discharge kiya gaya.
- HV Diode Test: High voltage diode forward/reverse resistance check ki gayi jisme diode short-circuited paya gaya.
- Magnetron Tube Test: Magnetron filaments terminal multimeter se check kiye gaye. Filament continuity thi par internal vacuum emission breakdown hone ki wajah se magnetron radiation release nahi kar raha tha.
🟢 The Repair & Doorstep Safety Testing
Technician ke pass car inventory me brand new genuine OEM spare available tha:
- Faulty magnetron ko replace karke Original 2M219J High Efficiency Magnetron install kiya gaya.
- Naya heavy-duty high-voltage diode kit replace kiya gaya.
- Door safety interlock switch alignment check ki gayi taaki koi radiation leak na ho sake.
- 1 glass paani rakh kar 1-minute test run kiya gaya — paani bilkul boiling hot nikla!
Safety & Warranty Passed:
Installed Genuine Magnetron with 90-Day Doorstep Replacement Guarantee and leakage RF safety test passed.
